I received a note from Dun & Bradstreet today. It said that “on 11/01/2013 your company’s credit file was purchased by a business interested in reviewing your D&B business scores and ratings. Our records indicate the company that purchased your business credit file is in the following industry: Miscellaneous Publishing, Nsk.”
I have no idea what’s in that file, but I do know it’s not worth the paper it’s printed on. We don’t snoop on other companies, and we don’t help others snoop on us. If someone wants to know something about our business, they should contact us directly. If there’s a need to know, we can be very open. Otherwise, we are more close-mouthed than the CIA.
We routinely refuse inquiries from Dun & Bradstreet and have for more than 15 years. Anything that may be in our D&B file is most likely pure fiction.
